Meet the DJB Recreation Group!

Dustin Barron is the Owner and Lead Installer of DJB Recreation Group, bringing over 26 years of hands-on experience in the playground and recreation industry. Originally from Houston, Texas, Dustin was raised in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and graduated from Collins Hill High School in 2000. He continued his education at Georgia Perimeter College and the University of Georgia.

Dustin began his career in 2000 constructing playgrounds for major restaurant brands, including Chick-fil-A, McDonald’s, and Burger King, where he developed a strong foundation in both indoor and outdoor play environments. After a brief period in outdoor construction in 2011, he expanded his expertise with Superior Recreational Systems, installing residential playsets, basketball goals, and trampolines while balancing family life.

In 2017, Dustin returned to commercial playground construction, working on both indoor contained play systems and outdoor installations. By 2018, he fully dedicated his work to outdoor playground systems and recreation, growing DJB Recreation Services into a trusted provider in the industry.

A Certified Playground Safety Inspector (CPSI), Dustin is a certified installer for leading manufacturers including Playworld, Soft Play and VersaCourt. His company specializes in playground installation, site work, surfacing repairs and relocations, shade structures, sod and turf installation, athletic field work, and poured-in-place surfacing.
